According to the supermarket giant, its flagship gadget - the L.O.L Big Surprise Ball, is set to be top of wishlists this year - but it won't come cheap, at £60. Since being launched in March this year, the toy, which features seven layers of surprises that kids can unravel to reveal collectible dolls, has achieved over a half million sales in the UK alone. SANTA CLAUS But now a limited edition called Big Surprise featuring 50 gifts in each ball is being launched in time for December 25. Tesco has also today launched its half price sale on toys - following in the footsteps of John Lewis and Smyths. The promotion runs until 15 October in stores and online, however given the outrage over the Argos 3 for 2 sale - with parents claiming they've seen prices double during the promotion - make sure you shop around, compare prices and use discount codes to make sure you're getting the very best possible value.
