Enjoy plenty of festive fun and find out if you're in Santa's good books with a visit to the world's first 'naughty or nice' machine between November 11 and December 24. WILL you be on the naughty or nice list this Christmas? One way to find out is with a visit to Santa's Cove, a new interactive experience that's coming to Glasgow's intu Braehead. Made up of six domes outside the shopping centre, the experience will feature the world's first 'naughty or nice' machine. The special machine always makes sure every child gets a 'nice' response – so kids can be sure they're in Santa's good books! Using information provided when parents book, the machine will give a personalised certificate - detailing what children need to concentrate on at school, what their best friend’s name is etc - as well as a stick of candy for every child. And there's loads more to see and do at the fully-covered and lit up Santa's Cove, where families will be greeted and guided by elves, Mrs Claus and, of course, Santa himself. You can jump on board Santa’s sleigh and experience the fun of flying as Father Christmas delivers his presents. Or why not help to make food for Santa's reindeer which will then be packaged and taken home by children to leave out for Rudolph and Co on Christmas Eve? Other activities include making your own Christmas decoration and taking it home to hang on your tree, and a visit to Santa’s grotto with kids leaving with a gift for being extra good. As well as presents, what we love most about the festive season is some sweet treats. So a visit to the Elves Canteen is a must for a hot chocolate for the youngsters and a mince pie for the parents. There will be specific autism-friendly sessions scheduled and an opportunity to donate to National Autistic Society with every donation matched by Santa’s Cove. Children can post a letter to Father Christmas at Santa’s Cove, and there will be a competition for the best Christmassy family. Finbarr O’Toole, director of BFK Ventures, said: “We’re excited to be bringing Santa’s Cove to Glasgow and we can’t wait to get the world’s first 'naughty or nice' machine into action. “Of course, we’re pretty sure all the children have been extra good in the lead up to Christmas! “intu Braehead is the perfect location for Santa’s Cove and we’re pleased to be able to sprinkle magic far and wide.” Santa's Cove will be at intu Braehead from November 11 to December 24. Tickets booked for Santa’s Cove between November 11-23 will get one free adult ticket with every child ticket booked. Bookings must be made online by October 30 to take advantage of the offer.
