Treat your pug to Mince Pug Pies, Dognuts, and Christmas Pupcakes It's safe to say that Manchester has gone mad for pugs. There's been PugFest , a Halloween pug party , and now a Christmas pug cafe is coming to the city. Hosted by the Guildford-based events company Pug Cafe, the festive pooch party will welcome all pugs, pug crosses and pug lovers to a one-day event in Manchester city centre. LEAF on Portland Street will be transformed into a pug haven with a huge range of activities to entertain both dogs and humans.Taking place on Saturday December 2, the event will feature a menu by Rudi's Doggy Bakery dedicated to our furry friends which will include Mince Pug Pies, Dognuts, Christmas Pupcakes, Gingerpug Cookies and more. Meanwhile, humans can enjoy LEAF on Portland St's extensive menu; there'll be festive dishes and seasonal drinks including mulled wine and hot cider to get you in the Christmas mood. And dog-less visitors are also welcome to attend and mingle with the grumble of pugs. The event is strictly bookings only, and applications open on Saturday November 4, when a booking email address will be posted on the group's Facebook page.Organisers advise interested parties to RSVP to show their interest, turn notifications on, and wait for booking to go live at 11am. They anticipate that the event will be very busy, and not everyone will be successful.Tickets for pug owners cost £7.50 and pug-less people cost £15. The event works on a ratio of 1 pug: 2 humans, so each pug owner booking with one pug allows for two people at £7.50 and additional guests are charged £10. Under twos do not pay a booking fee but count as a guest.
