Costa's Christmas cups are here and there's a new festive menu to match

The Honeycomb Latte is back Now that the clock's have gone back, the countdown to Christmas is officially on. And if you need a little help getting into the festive spirit? As it's probably a little early to get the Santa Claus sweaters out, sipping on a honeycomb-flavoured latte from a cup with a snowman on it should do the trick. Costa has announced it will launch its Christmas takeaway cups this week, along with a seasonal food and drink menu. This year's cups feature five different motifs, including a gingerbread man, an elf and a jolly-looking Father Christmas, and the drinks range is just as joyful. New to the menu is the Billionaire’s Hot Chocolate, which includes layers of caramel sauce, a freshly whipped cream topping and just because it's Christmas, shortbread crumbs. There's also a Billionaire’s Latte which mixes Belgian chocolate sauce and caramel sauce with a mocha blend and back my popular demand is the festive Frostino. This winter, the coffee shop's iced drink comes in both the Billionaire and Black Forest flavours.Other sweet treats returning to Costa this month include the Gingerbread and Cream Latte, the Honeycomb Latte, the Mint Hot Chocolate and last year's favourite, the Lindt Hot Chocolate. On the food front, there are seven new cakes to try, including a vegan and gluten-free Mince Tart, as well as five new savoury options. We're already drooling at the thought of the Festive Pigs in Blankets Panini. Ready to tuck in? The Costa Christmas cups and festive menu will arrive in stores nationwide from 2 November.
