'Santa bikers' hand over Christmas gifts for vulnerable children

Over 100 Bikers from all over Dumfries and Galloway turned out for the Annual Motorcycle Toy Run in Dumfries today. Motorcyclist set off from Thornhill, Castle Douglas, Moffat and Dumfries The bikers met up at The Queen of the South car park where they gave their unwrapped Christmas gifts which will be donated to Social Services for distribution to children across the region. They then made their way into Dumfries town centre. Some of the Bikers were dressed up - one group called "the Curvy bikers" were in the Christmas spirit were dressed up as Santa and Batman and Robin. The event, which has been running since 1989, is organised by Dumfries and Galloway IAM Motorcycle group
