Salisbury Christmas Market turns the centre of the beautiful medieval cathedral city into a winter wonderland with its authentic German Market wooden chalets and festive events.Proudly returning to the historic Guildhall Square for its sixth consecutive year, 2017's Salisbury Christmas Market will see the return of many award-winning exhibitors and products. Every year the goods available at the Christmas Market grows, with choices ranging from intricate jewellery to beautifully crafted handmade furniture, succulent mince pies to luxurious all-flavoured liqueurs. There will be an exciting mix of local and international delicacies, festive foods, and sweet treats to accommodate all tastes at the many catered chalets. Salisbury Christmas market is open throughout December, but those wanting to take the exciting tour on the steam train will need to note down Friday, December 14 in their diaries. Which stations can I travel from? The train will leave Ashford International at 9.10am, Charing station at 10.30am, Maidstone East station at 8.50am and Borough Green & Wrotham station at 9.10am.It will arrive in Salisbury just after 1pm and depart again at 4.30pm - giving shoppers over three hours to explore the winter wonderland. How much are tickets? Standard adult tickets are priced at £108. Premium and dining tickets have different rates.
