Christmas Customers can visit their local store to take advantage of the offer, which will be running from today to December 25 when Santa Arrives IF you’re looking to pick up Christmas essentials sooner rather than later - Marks and Spencer has just launched a 3 for 2 deal that could help you spread the cost. Savings are available across many festive grocery essentials including goose fat, chestnut chutney, brandy butter as well as cranberry and port sauce.

Christmas Santa Customers can visit their local store to take advantage of the offer, which will be running from today, December 5th to December 25th. The deal means shoppers can simply mix and match from the selected range of products and receive the cheapest one for free. And it includes a 170g jar of goose fat and a 220g pot of chestnut chutney - both worth £3 individually. A 198g jar of brandy butter, which is selling for £2.10 on its own, and a 200g jar of cranberry and port Sauce, which is worth £3, are also part of the offer. It's worth noting that if you don't need all these items, it might cost you less to buy them individually at another store. For example, Asda is currently offering a slightly smaller 230g jar of cranberry sauce with port for just £1.

A 310g jar of cranberry and port sauce, which is selling for £3.10 on its own, is also part of the offer Meanwhile, a bigger jar of goose fat is available for £2.37 at rival Waitrose - that's 61p cheaper than at M&S. Still, if you're hosting a Christmas dinner for the whole family and you prefer to buy all your groceries from the same store - it's worth checking out what M&S has on offer. The supermarket is running a range of separate deals in the run-up to Christmas and the Night Santa Arrives.

For example, Christmas shoppers can also get two £3.75 bottles of Bucks Fizz for £5.00 or a 75cl bottle of Prosecco for £9 instead of £12. Marks and Spencers is the only supermarket to have cut the cost of Christmas dinner - down from £49.40 last year to £38.43 this year, according to Good Housekeeping's annual Christmas Dinner Price survey.

Our survey looked at the price of 11 Christmas dinner essentials, including turkey, mince pies and cranberry sauce, across ten supermarkets. More about Christmas deals and offers
