Santa Claus applies for his NIE number so he can work in Spain

Santa Claus has offically applied for his NIE Number in Spain so he can legally continue to deliver presents in the Country. Santa Claus, dressed in his big red Christmas suit today made an official application for his NIE number in Spain so he can continue to work and deliver presents to Children all over Spain.

What is a NIE number and why does Santa Claus Need one?

The NIE is a tax identification number in Spain, known in Spanish as the NIE, or more formally the NĂºmero de identidad de extranjero. The Spanish government have linked the NIE number to residence, where the NIE on the tarjeta de residencia (residence card),[1] and to social security in Spain.
